Current Events

Parenthood is one of the most demanding and, yet, rewarding undertakings in life. For many teenage parents having a child can often seem debilitating. Many teen parents think the obstacles of parenthood ruin their chances for education and later achievements in life. J.A.M.E.S.,INC. exists to help teenage parents understand the opportunities as well as the assistance available to them for success in higher education and life.

J.A.M.E.S., INC. provides financial and educational assistance to pregnant and parenting teen mothers who enter institutions of higher learning. We seek to make a positive impact on our recipients by enhancing their ability to imagine and achieve a vision of self-sufficiency for themselves and their children through positive educational achievements.

The Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy creates awareness, takes action and changes policy on behalf of children and youth.

Healthy Teens Network

A national organization focused on adolescent health and well-being with an emphasis on teen pregnancy prevention, teen pregnancy, and teen parenting.

Teen emPower!

Our mission at Teen emPower! Inc. is to reduce teen pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases and substance abuse by empowering youth to make healthy choices through life-skills education.

The League of Extraordinary Fathers Tulsa Chapter presents our 2018 Fatherhood Conference! J.A.M.E.S. Inc. in conjunction with Cole Speaks and graciously supported by HealthyStart & Evelyn’s Restaurant presents the League of Extraordinary Fathers Tulsa Fatherhood Conference. This one-day conference aims to empower and motivate young parents and acts as an opportunity to come together and explore the emotional terrain of parenting.

The conference will be held on Tuesday, June 26th from 1pm to 8pm at the Bernsen Community Life Center, 700 S Boston Ave downtown. Food will be provided.
